Krewe du Optic, the New Orleans–based purveyor of chic, contemporary eyewear, has just opened its first boutique in a late-19th-century building in the French Quarter. Designed in-house by the Krewe crew, the stylish shop channels the delightful eccentricity and exuberant style for which the city is famous. Krewe was founded in 2013 by Stirling Barrett, himself a native of the Big Easy and one of its most ardent champions.
