Alessandro Dell’Acqua is an Italian fashion designer born in 1962 in Naples, Italy. His specialty was knitwear and he started working for Pietro Pianforini, the famous knitwear designer. The designer worked with a small group of artisans in Bologna, Italy. In 1995, Alessandro Dell'Acqua founded his own brand and he presents his collections of womenswear and menswear on fashion weeks in Milan. Alessandro has added various other products and accessories to his offer with time - men's and women's ready-to-wear, footwear, eyewear, fragrances and bags. The brand expanded overseas, to the U. S. by opening a showroom and a store on Madison Avenue. Dell’Acqua’s creations are very feminine, curve-hugging and sensual, inspried by the women of classic Italian cinema.
