Online Glasses Store

SpecsOnTheNet is an online supplier of prescription glasses. A UK company founded in 2003 by Mark James and Jonathan Birch it was one of the first companies to supply prescription eyewear on the Internet and pioneered the use of virtual modelling software to allow customers to virtually "try on" glasses.
By supplying glasses direct from the laboratory and avoiding the overheads associated with running a high street store, SpecsOnTheNet is able to offer the same frames and lenses as a traditional optician but at substantially lower cost. This was made possible by the deregulation of the UK optical market in the 1980s.
SpecsOnTheNet suffered supply problems during it's early years, due to resistance from traditional opticians to the Internet suppliers. Despite this...

If you have Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance, you understand how important it is to know what is in your food and drink. You also know how embarrassing and time consuming it is to need to set up camp in front of the grocery store shelves and read the label on every product you are interested in and then check it against your rather lengthy "do not consume" list. All you have to do is find out about each product that is not as difficult as you think, and you"re interested in before you proceed to the shop. Is there one method that"s better than another for losing weight. The absolute perfect strategy to attain perfect results is by observing the foods you eat, restricting fatty and sugary foods, upping your daily water intake to about 10 8oz. glasses a day and exercising. Lifestyle changes are necessary in losing weight and keeping it off.

This week in photographs: Here is my update of my 366-day photography project. Green, lovely, baby things. The crocuses and the snowdrops are already blooming. We have to go through border crossings, as do Canadians. I'm not a fan of borders, border patrol, or all of the rest of that stuff. I believe in open borders because borders are artificial dividing lines designed to keep humans away from humans. On Tuesday afternoon, I went to drop off some photographs at Gilbert and Gretchen's house. Gretchen was the lady who celebrated her 20th birthday with friends on February 29th. I had posted her picture last week. When I got to Gilbert and Gretchen's house, I noticed these lovely crocuses. They were the first crocuses that I'd seen this season. I went to my friend.

As more people buy online, Johnny Fly tries something new: opening a store

John Freeman hears it a lot: Why are you opening a physical store to sell your sunglasses, when you already have a thriving online business? “Everyone says you are going to the opposite direction of the trend,” Freeman said last week, sitting outside the Smelly Cat Cafe in NoDa, across from the site where Johnny Fly opened its first brick-and-mortar store on Wednesday. To him, it’s all about the experience. “Eyewear is the kind of thing that you really need to try on,” he said. “It’s really...
