The standpoint is one who respects the crafts of the chef and sommelier and who seeks to understand their choices in the kitchen and cellar and grow in knowledge. In this, I will seek to be fair, reasoned, direct and constructive and aim to keep my ego in check on our mutual journeys through the worlds of food and wine. Each evening, from 5 until 7 they offer drinks of two for the price of one, so when you order a beer you get two placed right in front of you. This evening we invited Cathy and Ted to have a drink with us in the bar so when we ordered, our tables got full of 12 glasses. Tonight we took our free drinks along with the 12 glasses all sitting on the table. For our free drinks we ordered cans of beer so we returned to our room with four glasses full plus four cans of beer to put in our fridge to be used tomorrow. Cathy and Ted are new to Playa Royale and have never been to Paradise Village so it was a good opportunity for them to look over the place.
