Turn your regular glasses into smart glasses with PogoCam PogoCam won't disrupt the look of the eyewear you already own. But despite its diminutive size, it's capable of quite a bit — the camera itself can hold up to 100 photos or six 30-second videos. The photos have a 5MP resolution, while videos are [...]
Why Snapchat Spectacles failed Data transfers from the glasses to the phone took forever and would get easily interrupted. They only recorded videos in 720p, not 1080. Videos were clumsily first sent in low-resolution until a higher-res version could be delivered. Spectacles drain [...]

X-cellent: Apple of user's ayes I also tested Face ID in different scenarios, like holding the phone at a lower position, in the dark and under bright sunlight, as well as with me wearing my polarised sunglasses, a cap or a scarf around my neck. And Face ID still worked. In the past [...]

Inside, there's Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR memory and 32GB of storage.

Baendit eyewear = bendable + modular sunglasses I wish I could wear sunglasses, but I wear normal glasses with Transitions Optical photochromic lenses. That’s just a fancy way of saying that the lenses darken when exposed to sunlight. They work fine but don’t allow me the ability to change styles as ... [...]
Lady Gaga and Polaroid's upcoming Grey Label Camera Glasses can record video and snap pictures, but who really wants to show the world what they're up too on those mini LCD screens? It's nothing more than a fancy gimmick between a pop star and a failing company. Isn't the intention of camera glasses to capture things around you as they are? Drawing attention to yourself with clunky video-displaying eyewear kind of defeats the purpose, but that's why they're "fashion" glasses and not practical...

Wearables have been on quite a roll, what with smart clothing and smart watches and even smart shoes. But try as they might, smart glasses didn’t quite meet with the same success. After all, when’s the last time you saw someone wearing a pair of Google Glass, or even Snapchat Spectacles? The problem, of course, is that no one wants to put a ridiculous (looking) piece of technology on their face. But luckily, there’s a way to turn the glasses you already own into a pair of the smart variety....
