Do you ever have those morning melt downs deciding what to wear (still feeling pretty groggy from the weekend antics) and nothing is screaming out to you saying ‘This is the outfit. ’ Let’s face it, on a typical Monday morning it’s the last thing you need when you've already struggled with the battle of leaving your bed you hardly need another with your wardrobe. So my aim is to ease some of the morning pressures with the help of this blog showing possible 9 to 5 looks for the office. Feel free to use my posts as inspiration if nothing else for outfit ideas that will keep work exciting. As the title of my blog states I’ll mainly be posting on work wear but boosting creativity whilst keeping the look super professional

For Christmas {on both sides} we pick names & then either purchase or DIY a gift for your partner. My father-in-law picked my name & I was so surprised with my gift. He purchased a brand new frame & distressed & antiqued it, which is so my style. {Sidenote: my Dad also had my name & made me a pallet flag which I loooove. } Luke & I have a junk drawer where we put our keys, sunglasses & Luke's wallet. However, it just isn't working for us. Our keys usually find themselves a home on the counter or table & then get moved 5 thousand times. Love the new light fixture and all of the updates to your wall prints, etc - so fun to see a home come together over time.

How Independent Luxury Brands Are Disrupting the Eyewear Industry

Krewe“This cycle happens so rapidly now that the pioneer becomes the victim of its own success and gets surrounded by intense competition,” says Won Lee, the U.S. CEO of Gentle Monster, a Korean-based brand. “License businesses like Luxottica and Safilo have led the fashion eyewear market for a long time, but now there’s a proliferation of eyewear brands, including independent ones like us, due to the expectation on fashion brands to have their own eyewear lines—much like fragrances. This...

Zack Moscot was not yet 8 years old when he had a screaming tantrum about his professional future. “I don’t wanna join the business!” wailed the fifth-generation member of the family behind Moscot, the venerable New York eyewear company. His great-great-grandfather Hyman Moscot founded the shop in 1915, turning a pushcart stocked with ready-made glasses into an optical landmark known for its bright yellow sign and low-key style. “I didn’t know what I wanted to do,” Zack says, looking back. “I...
