Don’t get me wrong, I do love wearing glasses because it is like a fashion statement. I love buying new glasses and changing my look. What made me want to do this surgery was that I wanted to be free from glasses for sports and those cold days when your glasses fog up. Yes, I do wear contacts but I hate it. I want to go swimming and not worry about my contacts falling out. I want to be able to wear crazy sunglasses without wearing contacts. They have been doing laser eye surgery since 1995. So they seemed like a good place to do it. I made a consultation appointment in the summer of 2015. My surgery date is March 15, 2016 (the day after pi day, so I can still celebrate pi day. The consultant will go over the options with you and which one will fit your life, recovery time, and risks.
