Alexander Dobrindt told the Chancellor that Berlin must act alone if it cannot reach a Europe-wide deal on refugees and that Germany could no longer show the world a 'friendly face' to migrants. The answer, after watching, Tracey Ullman’s Show (BBC1) is: why ever not. The new six-part series is a mixture of impressions and comedy sketches. However, in Tracey’s case, it was the impressions of familiar faces that worked the best, while the skits featuring ordinary people were the weaker element. Last night’s episode opened with a sketch featuring Dame Judi Dench shoplifting in her local Co-op. There’s no rhyme or reason for Dame Judi to be portrayed as a thieving thug, but it was very funny all.
