Not a lot of people know this but I’m very good at… paying attention. I learn a lot about people quite quickly because I hang on every word.
My best friend is… a group of girlfriends: Kate, Maddie, Vanessa and Emma who I went to school with, so we’ve known each other for years.
My nickname is… Teebs or T-Bear to my friends and Tan [pronounced Taan] to my parents.
The bravest thing I’ve ever done was… have laser-eye surgery last year. I was quite proud of myself as I’m really squeamish bt I was completely fine on the day. My prescription was a -4 in each eye so I have always had to wear glasses. It’s amazing not to need them.
My favourite TV show is… Stranger Things. It’s just the best show in the world. I wasn’t born until 1989 but it still feels nostalgic to me because the early 1990s had that same sort of style and my parents listened to a lot of 80s music. It was such a cool era. The acting is brilliant and I could listen to the score all day.
My perfect evening would be… having a spa evening, relaxing, unwinding and doing a DIY facial. I love a bubble bath and will have my laptop in the bathroom so I can watch Stranger Things at the same time.
I’d like to say sorry to… Actually I’m very good at saying sorry straight away and feel like I say it a lot so I never really have to bring myself around to say “sorry” to anyone. I think it’s a very British thing.
My first kiss was… with a boy in high school when I was about 12 or 13. It wasn’t very good so I feel like he probably wouldn’t want me to say his name.
The one thing I’d change about myself is… that I can’t watch scary films. If I watch them, I can’t sleep for about six months as they really play on my mind afterwards.
The best thing my parents taught me was… probably to work hard and my mother encouraged me to read a lot. She is an English teacher and books are her thing and they’re a comfort to me now.
The last time I cried was… watching a YouTube video. I can’t remember exactly what it was about but I often cry when someone is being applauded or if something is exciting for someone.
The first record I ever bought was… All Saints’ debut album which had the track Never Ever on it.
It’s not good for my image but I… often sleep in my make-up.
My greatest weakness is… chocolate brownies.
If I could pass any law, I would… like education to be compulsory for all children across the world.
I drive… a black Audi but I can’t remember which one as I’m not really into cars. When I have kids, I’d love to get a Range Rover. That’s the only car I’ve ever been interested in.
The most expensive thing I’ve ever splashed out on is… my baby grand piano. I started to learn when I was six and took a break when I was a teenager because it wasn’t cool to play piano, but now I play almost daily. I mainly play classical but last night I started learning When We Were Young by Adele.
If I had to pick someone to play me in a film, it would be… Lily James.
The worst job I’ve done was… working in a coffee shop. I used to get really bored and I’d smell weird at the end of the day. I had to do the dishwasher a lot as I wasn’t fast enough at making the drinks and it was carnage. It was a two-minute cycle so I was constantly unloading and then putting more in. I’d end up covered in the dregs from the bottom of all the cups, the whipped cream and milk and stuff. It was gross.
My perfect Sunday would… definitely involve a roast dinner. If I’m just with Jim, we’d go to the pub but if I’m with friends, I love to cook roast beef.
My favourite place in Britain is… the countryside in Somerset. Jim and I often go and stay at Babington House in Frome – it’s really beautiful around there.
My last holiday was to… Capri in Italy in August with Jim and it was amazing. We would take a boat out every day and travel around to all the tiny little coves which just have a few sunloungers and a small restaurant so you can have lunch or coffees. It felt really relaxing but also slightly adventurous because you leave the hotel and go out on a boat.
I’m currently reading… Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. I absolutely love it. It’s my first time reading it and I’m almost at the end. I asked my mother the other day if she had read it and she said, “Yes, loads of times,” which is funny because it’s not one I remember seeing on her bookshelf when I was growing up. Or she might have and it was too scary for me when I was younger. It’s creepy rather than full-on horror, though, so I’m really enjoying it.
The best day of my life was… my wedding day. It was absolutely magical.
If I had half an hour left on Earth I’d… tell everyone that I loved them and then hang out with Jim, try and make each other laugh and have a cuddle.
