Cutler and Gross is a luxury eyewear brand founded by Graham Cutler and Tony Gross in 1969. They are based in the Knightsbridge area of London.
The label was started in London in 1969 by partners Cutler and Gross, who had met each other in optometry school at London’s Northampton College in the early 1960s. They opened their first optician in Knightsbridge in 1971, stocking hand made bespoke frames. Cutler and Gross are amongst a few pioneering eyewear labels to make eyewear a fashion accessory.
