Adding to a long list of activities hosted at their facility inside Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Rockinjump has just debuted a new event. Rockin Neon Nights will cater to teens and millennials who are jumping on the latest indoor entertainment craze: trampolines.
Quickly set aside all images of your mom working out on a small round trampoline in your living room. Multiply the fun you had as a kid in your neighbor’s backyard setup by a million.
Jens Berding opened the facility with his wife Eddy. Berding says, “Our motto is safe, clean and fun in a family entertainment environment. We’re people like you who want to exercise, but also like to have fun. Lots of fun. Rockinjump is a place where you can soar in open jump arenas, dive into a stunt bag, play trampoline dodgeball, do flips and somersaults.”Rockinjump offers 23,000 square foot space includes a Ninja Course, an open jumping arena, two trampoline dodge ball courts, a slam dunk zone, a stunt bag area, X-Bean, a rock climbing wall, and a play area for kids under 6 years old.
“Our park allows kids of all ages to play safely while parents socialize with other parents,” Berding says, “The big kids have their area, the little kids can have their own area, and they’re all safe.”
Toddlers can get in on the fun in the X-Bean and trampoline area. Teenagers, millennials, and adults can take on the challenge of dodge ball, Ninja Course, or go for the flips in the stunt bag.Rockinjump wants to provide an alternative for birthday parties, family gatherings, and corporate events where quality food and private party rooms were guaranteed. They’ve played host to college nights, teen nights,
company teambuilding days, and field trips.
The Berdings are driven by the desire to build strong community relationships and encouraging everyone to be physically active. They have partnered with local schools like Bayview Elementary, St. Marks Episcopal Church, and McNabb Elementary to organize fundraising events and end of season parties.
